Modern and energy efficient Thermo HS Alu lift and slide balcony doors are a perfect solution for a balcony or a terrace. With the possibility to glass much larger surfaces than in case of traditionally-opening balcony door, the rooms are optically bigger and filled with natural light.
The most important parameter, defining the energy efficiency is the heat transfer coefficient for whole lift and slide doors (Uw). The lower the coefficient, the lower the heat loss at home and lower heating costs are. Precisely selected frame thickness and energy efficient triple glass packages result in the heat transfer coefficient for the whole door Uw = 0.9.W/sqmK.
The THERMO ALU balcony lift and slide door have an additional protection of the wooden frame from damaging weather conditions, in the form of an aluminium cover fixed on the frame, on the façade side.

For a greater comfort and enjoying open space and natural light, the Thermo HS slide and lift balcony door, may be fully automatic. In case of a drive for slide and lift door, the wing position may be controlled automatically and reliably. The drive is controlled with a button in the handle or with a remote controller. For safety and comfort of use, the system has an anti-squeeze protection and manual option in case of a power shortage. An additional advantage of the drive is a possibility to program a 10-minute automatic room ventilation, which shall provide permanent and regular air flow.

Thermo HS terrace slide and lift door is a perfect solution to connect the interior with the garden. Its structure allows to build whole glazed walls.
